Dr. Daniel Blaize Noel was born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana where he attended both elementary and high school. He then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, receiving a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, graduating with Magna cum Laude honors. He went on to attend medical school at LSU in New Orleans where he continued to excel, academically. In the community, he continued his passion for volunteer and mission work both locally and abroad. He became interested in diseases of the head and neck early in his medical school career and served as President of the student body’s ENT Interest Group and authored numerous articles and presentations in the field of Otolaryngology. During graduation, the medical school faculty chose Dr. Noel as the recipient of the George Lyons Award for Excellence in Otolaryngology.
After graduation, Dr. Noel was selected for a residency position at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he completed a five year training program in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. While there, he was mentored by some of the most renowned Otolaryngologists and Head and Neck surgeons in the field and was immersed in The Mayo Clinic’s philosophy of patient care which dictates that no matter what, “the needs of the patient come first.” As a senior resident, Dr. Noel was elected by his peers to serve as the Resident Representative to the Department. During his training, he developed skills and experience in advanced and minimally invasive procedures of the head, face, neck, sinuses, and ears.
Dr. Noel and his wife, Kimberly, are proud parents of three young children. He is excited to have returned home to Alexandria and looks forward to serving the people of Louisiana. He takes pride not only in his surgical abilities, but in his passion for individualized patient care. Dr. Noel offers a broad spectrum of both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for diseases of the ear, nose and throat for both children and adults. He enjoys all aspects of ENT and has special interests in disorders of the sinuses, thyroid and parathyroid glands, ears, and cancers of the head and neck.
