Shannon Knight, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner (FNP) that has been employed with Red River ENT since 2017. Shannon is a native of Pineville, Louisiana and a graduate of Pineville High School. She graduated from Louisiana College with her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 2002 where she graduated cum laude. As a Registered Nurse, Shannon was employed by Rapides Regional Medical Center nursing at the bedside on the Oncological\/Medical Surgical unit and then in medical records as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS). Shannon completed her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from Northwestern in 2013. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Following graduation, Shannon specialized in the care of the geriatric population within long term care facilities within our community and surrounding communities. Shannon enjoys working closely alongside Dr. Christian Wold in the clinic setting to provide care across the lifespan within the ENT specialty to the members of our community.
